The location was excellent for a 4 day stay. We booked an entire dorm room sleeping up to 8 for $128 per night. very close to everything we needed. Could walk to Surry hills, Redfern etc. Massive shopping centre across the road. Sultans restaurant open til 1am around the corner... we didn't need much more.

Sorry I've miss typed this is what I didn't like : Location was described as 1km from the Lyric Theatre, we had to take a bus & a tram which took 45 minutes. If I hadn't double checked we would have missed our show. There was no indication that the only access was up four flights of stairs, I have a serious leg incapacity & on a disability pension. No staff on a freezing night so no access to a much needed extra blanket or to towels that the web site said would be available for hire. Lastly I've left a much loved pair of earrings in the room, last gift from my father before he died & the email address I was told to send an email to is wrong, letter couldn't be delivered. I need to get these earrings back could you please help me with this

The location is great, very well connected, close to public transport and to all the main city attractions. The price is super cheap in comparison with the rest of the hotels in the area, but I wouldn't recommend it.
